A modern, minimal and casual oversized carryall that will elevate your everyday style. Perfect as a large beach bag, or for a weekend away.

Waxed cotton canvas large carryall tote bag, lined in unbleached cotton canvas. Well thought out details are both aesthetic and functional. Wide cotton webbing handles ensure a comfortable fit. Webbing along the top edge of the bag function as built in carrier handles, attached with stainless steel or antique brass color snaps. There are roomy interior pockets, with a large pocket on one side and dual pockets on the other side.

A striking alternative to leather, this eco friendly waxed canvas is water repellent, and will develop a beautiful patina over time.

Waxed cotton canvas was historically used by sailors beginning in the 15th century for sails, as well as for outdoor clothing. It is water repellent and utilitarian, with natural beauty and character. The waxed finish will soften, develop a beautiful patina over time.

*Waxed 100% cotton canvas (heavyweight), coated in beeswax, durable and water repellent exterior (not water repellent in the interior)
*Lined in unbleached 100% cotton duck canvas.
*Interior pockets on both sides, reinforced corner stitching.
*Interior lining is interfaced at the base of the bag for added durability.
*Handle drop is 10"; made from 100% cotton webbing.
*100% cotton webbing along the interior edge, which also functions as a carrying handle
*High quality stainless steel or antique brass color snaps along the top edge
*Fully collapsible, can be folded flat, for storage or travel.

CARE:
*Wax is heat sensitive, take care not to expose to extreme heat.
*Use a lint roller to remove and dust or surface dirt.
*Spot clean with a soft brush or cloth. Use a little mild soap (like Castille soap) and water if needed.
*Water may cause discolouration; a blow dryer will remove the marks
*Dry with a clean towel.
*DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRYCLEAN
*DO NOT BLEACH, DO NOT TUMBLE DRY, DO NOT IRON.
*After some time, and heavy use, you may wish to re-wax the canvas. You can do this with a bar of wax such as Otter Wax Heavy Duty Fabric Wax

There may be creases and lines in the wax, after the shipping process. These are known as "craze" marks, and this patina adds beautiful character. To remove these marks, or to stiffen the basket, you can use a blow dryer. Hold the bag in one hand, and blow dry in a circular motion for several minutes until the creases disappear. Let it cool down, and the wax will harden; reshape the bag as desired. If you would like to re wax the bag, you can use a fabric wax of your choice. This particular fabric is waxed with beeswax.
