A modern, sustainable, soft yet durable, large and portable storage solution; it is a stylish and versatile carryall with leather handles.

A striking alternative to leather, this eco-friendly waxed canvas is water-repellent and will develop a beautiful patina over time.

Waxed cotton canvas was historically used by sailors beginning in the 15th century for sails, as well as for outdoor clothing. It is water-repellent and utilitarian, with natural beauty and character. The waxed finish will soften, and develop a beautiful patina over time.

DETAILS:
*Waxed 100% cotton canvas (heavyweight), coated in beeswax, durable and water-repellent exterior (not water-repellent in the interior)
*Lined in heavyweight unbleached 100% cotton duck canvas.
*Metal Hardware: bronze or silver colour
*Leather handles, dark brown or natural vegetable tanned. Please note that these handles are functional, however are not meant for lifting a heavy load. The basket is flexible, and therefore with a heavier load lifting under the basket is advised.
*Trimmed with 100% cotton twill tape, for a sturdy top edge.
*Fully collapsible, can be folded flat, for storage or travel.

AVAILABLE COLOURS:

CARE:
*Wax is heat sensitive, take care not to expose it to extreme heat.
*Use a lint roller to remove any dust or surface dirt.
*Spot clean with a soft brush or cloth. Use a little mild soap (like Castille soap) and water if needed.
*Water may cause discoloration; a blow dryer will remove the marks
*Dry with a clean towel.
*DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY CLEAN
*DO NOT BLEACH, DO NOT TUMBLE DRY, DO NOT IRON.
*After some time, and heavy use, you may wish to re-wax the canvas. You can do this with a bar of wax such as Otter Wax Heavy Duty Fabric Wax

There may be creases and lines in the wax, after the shipping process. These are known as "craze" marks, and this patina adds beautiful character. You can use a blow dryer to remove these marks or to stiffen the carryall. Hold the carryall in one hand, and blow dry in a circular motion for several minutes until the creases disappear. Let it cool down, and the wax will harden; reshape the bin as desired. If you would like to re-wax the carryall, you can use a fabric wax of your choice. This particular fabric is waxed with beeswax.
