Modern and utilitarian snap pouch, beautifully handmade from waxed cotton canvas with raw edge detail. Perfect for all of your small essentials: the larger size fits a passport, smaller size fits credit cards. Closes easily with a snap closure. This a sustainably produced, made from small leftover pieces of waxed canvas. Coordinating baskets and totes are available.

Waxed cotton canvas was historically used by sailors beginning in the 15th century for sails, as well as for outdoor clothing. It is water-repellent and utilitarian, with natural beauty and character. The waxed finish will soften, and develop a beautiful patina over time.

Designed and individually handmade to order in our Vancouver studio, with thoughtfully sourced materials.

DETAILS:
* Small: 5" wide x 3.5" high
* Large: 6" wide x 4" high
* Waxed 100% cotton canvas, durable and water-repellent exterior (not water-repellent in the interior)
* Single layer of fabric, unlined
* Raw edge details, will fray naturally over time for a weathered look.
* Snap closure- antique bronze coloured brass
* Handmade to order in Canada.
* Please be aware, that since this is a custom-made product, we can only accept exchanges or offer refunds if the product is faulty or damaged in transit.

AVAILABLE COLOURS:

CARE:
* Wax is heat sensitive, take care not to expose it to extreme heat.
* Use a lint roller to remove any dust or surface dirt.
* Spot clean with a soft brush or cloth. Use a little mild soap (like Castille soap) and water if needed.
* Water may cause discolouration; a blow dryer will remove the marks
* Dry with a clean towel.
* DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRYCLEAN.
* DO NOT BLEACH, DO NOT TUMBLE DRY, DO NOT IRON.
* After some time and heavy use, you may wish to re-wax the canvas. You can do this with a bar of wax such as Otter Wax Heavy Duty Fabric Wax
*There may be creases and lines in the wax, with use and after the shipping process. To remove crease marks, you can use a blow dryer. Hold the pouch in one hand, and blow dry in a circular motion for several minutes until the creases disappear. Let it cool down. If you would like to re-wax the pouch, you can use a fabric wax of your choice.
